To be fair, some of them write well but lack time. They may retain me to write under their name, under my own, or as a coauthor. I leave that decision to them.
I like projects that require brains, homework, and, above all, the kind of writing that grabs a reader and doesn’t let go. For lighter-weight projects, a regular freelancer will cost you less.

When I’m not writing for hire, I read, write for fun, read, play my grand piano, read, go for walks with Mandy and Greta (pictured below), read, and force people to look at pictures of my grandchildren.
